The first time I used Affinity, I thought it would be difficult because the interface looked quite different from the design applications I usually use. However, after trying each tool one by one, I realized it was actually quite easy to understand. It took some time to get used to it, but after a while I felt more comfortable and enjoyed using it to create designs.
For this project, I created a simple flat design. I drew a character wearing the IDN Boarding School uniform and tried to match the colors as closely as possible to the real one. I also added a simple background so that the main focus would remain on the character and the name at the top of the design.
In my opinion, the result is quite good for my first time using Affinity. During the process, I learned many new things, such as using the Pen Tool, choosing and adjusting colors, and refining every part of the design. Although there are still some areas that could be improved, I am happy because I gained a new experience and became more confident in creating future designs.
